check the u-joints and it may have a carrier bearing...if so, check it.

Possibly ujoints or carrier bearing, cheaper too.

Dang Troy, you must not be living right. Body shops probably put 8k miles on it as long as they've had it.

The cross looking deals that connect your driveshaft to back of transmission and front of rear end.
In park get under your truck and try jerking your drive shaft around. If joints seem sloppy at all change em

If it has a carrier bearing it'll be on drive shaft somewhere between rear end and transmission

Carrier bearing holds up the center of a 2 piece drive shaft. I'm going to be doing mine in the near future.

also, crawl around under it, shake everything..a shock, a bushing...exhaust...may have been loosened to fix the dents, and NOT tightened back up

Could be a broken motor mount also.

I didn't think of the motor mount, I had to replace a transmission tailshaft mount once to fix a clunk.

tell them it did not do that before the accident and hav them ( shop ) check it out. you might be able to get it fixed from the original insurance payment
