Yes, that would be frost in the boat and on the log. 43 temp water was warmer than the 32 air temp.

2009 TBH mostly 1st timers post-hunt.

One of the few days in my life where the big lake froze over here in north Texas. I wasn't about to miss it. Done it before.
It don't take much for a duck hunt taxi service. (One of many small craft I've owned.)
Pickles' first goose. The drift wood behind us was our blind 30 minutes earlier.
Pre-season scouting with Pickles on another Big Water project.

The second part was somewhat better than the first as usual on the ULM. The teal didn't arrive here in strong numbers till October. Wish they would delay the early teal season by a couple weeks for South Texas.
