Dove are starting to show up

Went out this morning showing a guy around and saw a ton of dove. Is anyone else starting to see them show up?

This is in Navarro county, we're getting all of our grain out of the field and the birds were everywhere in the fields this morning

Funny you mentioned this. I was walking outside this morning to put some trash in my outside trashcan, and I realized for the first time I heard a bunch of dove Coo for the first time is a while.

A buddy and I drove around Stephens and Shackleford county this weekend checking fields. Dove are everywhere, sunflowers are abundant and ready to be shredded - should be a great season in that part of the state.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it! Hopefully these numbers stay around so all my hunters can have a great hunt! There were literally hundreds of them on the power lines

We have had plenty all summer here in the panhandle. Cant remember there being this many resident dove in a while. Question: There is no limit for the Eurasian dove right? Can you shoot them out of season too? I've got these huge dove like pigeons around, and they would be great on the grill.

I know on the Eurasian dove there is no limit, but I'm not sure about hunting them out of dove season. I would guess you could but that's just a guess.

I passed through Dumas and Dalhart a few weeks ago. Birds were THICK on the outskirts of town and around the fields.
My dad was going nuts at the amout of birds we saw
