Woke up at 1 something this morning to thunder. This has happened through the summer and the storms fall apart before we get em. No last night, finally started at 3:33am and slowly moved out about 6. Walked out to feed the dog and had to wear rubber boots, kennel and yard were flooded. Almost 3". Pretty widespread, should fill some duck playas and help the farmers!

Nice rain, but we did not get that much in west Lubbock. I was up playing in the cool NW, 68 for a high the days I was there, but we received only .51" at my house when I checked my gauge today when I got back into town.Comment

We got about 3/4 of a inch and lost power at the house. The yard sucked up that moisture like a sponge. We are supposed to have another great chance this weekend.Comment
