    This is unsettling

Stopped at the Valero in Terrell to get gas on my way home.
Started the pump ran as Credit Card leaned back against car like I usually do. Stood up put my hand on top of the pump, It Moved[emoji33] I look further.
On the side by the look it's loose. I can see inside the pump. I see the wires and such. About that time pump stops cause I've got a full tank.
I go inside ask for a manager. Girl behind the. Counter looks at me like I'm stupid. I tell her the issue. She looks baffled. Says she'll go look at it. On the way to my car I snap this picture.

There was a story on Fox 4 last night about crooks stealing card numbers in south Dallas that way. Hope that's not the case with the pump you used.

Just heard about it on radio news over here. I did not hear where the feed comes from ( ABC, CBS...?) but they said Dallas P.D. Had a dept in charge of the investigation. You might keep an eye on your account.

It was on the news just this evening they are installing gadgets and steal your account info. Close the account now. There is a phn number behind the card.

If you bank through USAA you can cancel it on their phone app.

We need to adopt Saudi practices for the punishment of thieves.
That crap would drop off in a hurry!
                    Hope you don't get hit.

                      Me three.
Got home logged in on my mobile device. Didn't see any recent charges. Ate supper. Tried logging in on my laptop like 6X. Got locked out [emoji35] I was seriously irked!
Than I noticed the M on my keyboard don't work... Guess what I need that key to work....
Been one of those days [emoji20]

The devices the crooks are now installing in gas pumps transmit your account info and PIN via Bluetooth. They just sit in their car across the parking lot and download it as you input it. Dallas PD have recovered half a dozen of these rigs from gas stations in north Dallas this week. Not sure how you can protect yourself other than going inside to pay - the old fashioned way

Bee thinking of going back to cash only. It's way to easy to swipe a card

More than likely the lock didnt get latched properly, but skimming is a huge problem i check dispensers everyday looking for them. You can buy the parts legally online to make them, the new ones are bluetooth and once it is installed all they have to do is come by once a week and download the cc info. Also ATM's are getting hammered and card scanners inside the stores. You would not believe the eqiluipment they have now. If you are ever bored just google cc skimming.

Did you see the counterfeit money thread?

You just have to be careful with whatever you use.
