Floating the River - Tube Size

We are headed to float the river and I want to stop at Tractor Supply or somewhere and buy my own tune vs renting one. What size do I need to buy?

I think youll find you can buy 2 or 3 at academy for a good old fashioned black tube will cost. And they will come with beer holders

10.00 X 20 is pretty normal, and get the metal valve stem. Any of us with any age got some nice scratches from the valve stem. Those were the days.

Go to Academy and buy the river run tubes. We have had ours for several years and still going strong. They have a bottom, head rest, and drink holders built in. Only $14.

You still have to pay the tube rental at most places even if you use your own. Id buy the river run academy ones. Have cup holders, headrest, and netting I'm bottom

Have to agree with everyone. We have had the river run tubes from academy for a number of years. I lost one last year, but I had got my money's worth of it. I also have a couple of truck tubes: the 10 x 20s I think.

at the places i frequent it's the same price to bring your own tube as it is to rent theirs.
