    Refletching with QuickFletch products

What are the pros and cons to QuickFletch products? I have a few arrows that have torn vanes from practicing a few years ago that have just been sitting in the closet. I'm thinking about trying the QuickFletch so I can use those arrows.

I bought some a few years a go to use as emergency fletching. They worked okay but if you get a tear in the sleeve it will eventually run. Turns out they will also shrink in a hot car so they didn't work for spares either. Your better off buying a jig and some super glue gel.

I like them a lot and have had no trouble in several years. I tried a jig and glue. Not good. Even when I've taken arrows to have refletched professionally, IMO they are never as good as they are from the manufacturer originally.

I have had better results with the Arizona E-Z Fletch

I fletched my own for a long time. Tried the quick fletch a couple of years ago and have been using them since. No issues at all. When you do have to replace one it is quick and easy. Still have my jig if I want to mess with it.

Use it all the time, and have had zero problems with it.

Same here. Going on my 4th year. And just had to replace a few. Fast easy. And they shoot just as good.

I have used them with success. I know wrap and vane my own. Buy a heat gun from Harbor Freight and use it instead of dipping in boiling water. Thank me later.

So what is the best way to get the old vanes off without damaging the shaft?

They make a tool to take the old vane and glue off then clean the shaft with acetone.

I wondered if there was a tool for that, thanks
