Im up at 2am and at the office by 3am. I had virtually the same hours when i was a route driver.
Been doing this 9 years now and we have several drivers who will make 90-100k this year. Almost make me want to go back on the route, ALMOST!!!!

On route has changed so much in just the last 5 years that it's scary to think it's even possible to physically make it to 20 much less 30

We have guys ranging in age from 25-60 years old on routes.

On average my drivers make 60-65k a year. Not bad money for being home every night for dinner.

That's all it boils down to! We just want to be home to say good night and spend an hr or 2 with the family, but instead it's weekend warrior parent and Saturdays your to tired to do anything, and being outside is the last thing you want to do! And it's only getting worse

The hours of UPS driver suck IMO. One reason i wouldnt work that job. Time with my family is more important than money.

98% of the reason we leave at the end of the day Saturday and Sunday aren't guaranteed, and it's even worse during the holidays

I got out of running route at 33 and it was about 6 years to late.

You'd think the company would see these things. Over time and 9.5s are payed like no big deal! I'd be 10x more productive if when I was done I got to come just come in, but there's no incentive to run through your stuff they'll send you all over the world helping the guys that just don't want to work! Chaps me
