Thinking about getting a pair. I have a pair of 10x50 diamondbacks right now. I am needing something to help out seeing more detail at further ranges. Price is a few hundred off msrp.

I had some diamondback 10x42s and decided to upgrade. I wanted the Viped HD 12x50 but went with the 10x50 instead. I regularly glass from 100-300 yds at the lease and the sharpness of the glass/ stronger image clarity made up for the lack of higher magnification. Maybe something to consider?
Only think I don't like about my new pair is how much heavier they are than the Diamondbacks. I would still buy them again in a second if I had to though. Great glass.
That makes sense. Just wanted to make sure someone wasn't trying to pull a fast one on ya.
The biggest issue you will find with the higher magnification binos is trying to hold them still. If you can mount them on a tripod great, but then you may as well go to a spotter and get the benefit of more magnification.
I personally think for all around use you would be better with a 10x42, 10x50 or maybe a 12x50 on the top end.
Also if you could the extra coin, steeping up to the Razor 10x42 would be even better.
