    Doe with triplets

Went out to feed the animals this morning and standing out around the corn was a doe with three fawns near her. For the last couple years I've seen this doe with twins and as surprising as it is both fawns each year have survived into yearlings. Now with her having triplets I wonder if all three will make it.

You should name her Fertile Myrtle

Back 20 years ago I hunted outside of Teague and I had a doe that had triplets every year that I was there. Most years she seemed to raise them all. She was a regular at my feeder. We could not shoot does on the place she basically became a pet. She always knew when I was there hunting but she never seemed to care...LOL. Made a great decoy.

That's a very good sign that everything is in good shape.

BTW: did you know that it is possible that all three fawns are from different bucks?

Feel bad for the buck that has to shell out the child support. I have a double throat patch doe that has twins every year and every year we give her a pass

We have two does that roam our neighborhood with triplets this year. Also a few with twins. So far this is the most fawns we've seen.

There is a doe in my neighborhood with triplets. I have a maybe 5 min drive through the neighborhood to reach the freeway to get to work and I have seen as many as 9 fawns on that short drive. They're everywhere.

I had a doe birth triplets and another birth quads same night, same spot. What a mess...
