    Walmart Ice Chest

I've been waiting to get a 73 quart ozark trail ice chest for months. I have never seen them in stock in the store or online.

Are any of you seeing them in stock in the Houston area? I have a brother in League City who might go pick one up if he knew they were in stock.

I have been on the email list for a few months now and have not got an email yet... I don't think they are in stock any where but, I could be wrong....

I had been doing the same thing. I ended up finding one of the small ones at the WM in Wharton and bought it. Was very disappointed in it and ended up returning it! Used it several times and it did no better than a regular igloo. Tried the precooling method and all the tricks. Final straw was when the rubber latch broke. Probably hadn't been opened 25 times!

Was definitely surprised and disappointed! I'm no cooler snob and that wasn't a "scientific" test but it sure didn't work for me! Good luck!

Not an Ozark trail, but the bucees in Bastrop had the RTIC coolers in stock this weekend. Picked up a 65 for 199.

Last Thursday Walmart in sulphur springs had a ton of them. Not close to Houston, but they did have a bunch.

Good to know I'm not the only one looking.

Bay City might be a little too far to request my brother to go buy one.

Thanks for this update, I've been after one for a while now and haven't seen any at the random walmart stops including different state wal marts when on vacation. As soon as I read your post I called SS WM and confirmed they still had some and went and picked up two. Time will tell how successful they are, but I got two for less than the price of one 75qt yeti which equates to a whole lot more capacity for elk, mule deer, and whatever else I may luck upon when hunting in remote areas that a igloo cooler won't do the job! For anyone else wondering, sulphur springs still has about half a dozen or more 73 qt coolers.
