Indianola, Texas???

Great place! It's about 30 minutes from lease so many days I hunt in the morning and fish in the evenings. Trout are great at the marina and it's a great place to kayak! I've caught a slam (red, specks, and flounder) many times in my kayak there.

X2. Have caught the slam many times but they weren't always keepers. I'm always short a keeper flounder. My favorite place to kayak.

I always just put in at the marina. Lot of times I fish till dark and load the kayak and then fish the lights if the tides are right.

I spent alot of time in Seadrift and lived in Port Oconnor for a year. I have a close friend with a bay house over in Idianola. The fishing is definitely good in the area but i did more duck hunting than fishing. As some have said, the history is really interesting

Great fishing in the area. Right across the channel from Indianola is some great fishing also. Keller and Cox Bays are excellent places to fish. I live about 30 minutes from Indianola. Holler at me if I can help you in any way. Pm sent.

Used to wade fish "the boxcars" there as a kid. Great memories. My parents had a small house there that got wiped out by hurricane Carla
