    Mountain lion scare!

So got up this morning and drove to lease to do a little hog hunting, about 20 min ago I got impatient and have some work to do around here so I got down to check my camera and get to work before it got too hot. I carry a digital camera with me to check my cameras then take the card home to upload them. Well, I'm standing there right by feeder and camera and am scrolling through pics when I see a mountain lion on my game camera.... What?!?!?!? Immediately I look up and look around, I think everyone would do that, then I embarrassingly walk, ok run, back to my stand. Get up in stand and want to get a better look at what I just saw, get camera out and it's just a dang bobcat!! It doesn't have any spots though and that's what got me!! Haha my heart is still racing as I sit up here and write this.

                MT Lion

Not a lion, you can tell by the ears, (shape and black tips) and the short tail that this is a bobcat. You can even see some spotting on the inside of its legs where the coat turns back to white.

As the bobcat gets older,a lot of the spots fade out..
