    Invasive ID Help

Can anyone help ID this stuff? It is a matting weed that is showing up in my yard (Zoysia). Also, any help on getting rid of it?

My guess is that it is Buttonweed, but that is just a guess..

Really looks like axonopus spp. Common name is carpet grass. Most likely axonopus affinis.

Grassy or herbaceous? Flowers or seed head?

The little white buds are white flowers with four petals. The little green "bulbs" are along the stem.

It forms a thick mat and has a tendency to intertwine killing everything below.

This stuff remindes me of a terrestrial hydrilla. It has the same feel when you pull it up.
