There is a 2005 sportsman 500 in the barn at the Lease. It ran when you they parked it (not sure how long ago) but will not start now. I'm sure it needs a carb rebuild, and a either a new starter or silenoid and a good tuneup at the very least. I talked to the owner and he wants me to make him a offer. I really have now idea. $1000-1200 range sound right/fair or am I way off either way?

That sounds fair. I am about to list my 2004 500 Sportsman on here for 2k I think. Mine runs though.
It should take much money getting the one in the barn going. I paid $140 for a carb job on mine a few months back. -
If it was running and in decent shape - it would probably bring a little over 2K. I'd back into your price w/ the repairs you will likely have to do.
$1200 would probably be a good deal for youComment
