This dude showed up saturday morning and never offered me a shot and then was already there sunday morning when I got to the stand. He spooked and never came back. We saw him last year and tried to get him but never was able to so hopefully next weekend will be the end for him. We think he is older than dirt but what do you guys think about age and score.

Cool deer! I shot one almost just like in south texas a few years ago. I'd give him 5.5 - 6 inches on the G2s and about 16 inches inside for a score around 115.Comment

That deer aint old 3 1/2 no older than 4 1/2 his back is stright as a string and his gut has not even started to sag. His hide is perfectly slick no scars, and his brisket has not even started to protrude yet. Thats just my .02$Comment

Actually, this deer is no younger than 6 1/2. We have pictures of him from 3 years ago when he was roughly 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 at the youngest. In the last two years his antlers havent changed much at all other than a couple inches here and there. Here is a picture of him from last year.

Some bucks simply retain a young appearance throughout their lives. These bucks can be a deer managers worst nightmare!
He has a pretty deep chest like a mature deer. His legs seem short.Comment
