This really sent me over the edge

I've been watching this 10 point for a couple of weeks and felt it was to early to use a tag on him, he was at least 5.5 and was a decent buck but it's my first year on this lease and wanted to see what else I could find, so i'm watching this buck sat. morning and he moved on, about an hour goes bye and I hear a cannon go off on the next property, then about 30 mins goes buy and the buck comes hobbling back through my feeding area only using 3 legs. It all happened so fast it crossed my mind to shoot the deer with my bow but before my brain registered my thought process the deer was gone. I waited about 45 min and got down and looked for him but never found him and what made me even madder is they never came to the fence to look for him.
