Looking for a Labrador

I convinced my girlfriend and parents to go in together and get me a (preferably, yellow) lab for Christmas to train to birdhunt. Looking for a male, with a good bloodline. $500 is the budget...If any of you may be able to help out with any information, please shoot me a PM. I've checked all of the local classifieds and just cant seem to find any good information.

I know this isnt bowhunting related, but thank you in advance to any that may be able to help me out with this.

I currently have two white male labs (been fixed) that wandered up at my home in Manvel. The dogs are very healthy and friendly. I can't find anyone to claim them and I already have five dogs. I called the dog pound and they will come get them and put them to sleep.

I hate to see this and would rather give them away to someone vs. seeing them put down.

No, I haven't seen these two labs work with a down bird. They do know how to load up in a truck. Hopefully, someone will be willing to take them.

If you could deal w/ a female, my father-in-law has a beautiful young yellow lab that is the lightest yellow lab I've seen. She's good natured and loves water. He CAN NOT keep her in the fence and is thinking about giving her away. I think he just wants rid of her. She keeps breaking his other 2 out and he's afrain they're going to get ran over.
