    Trail Camera Reveiw

After reading a lot of threads on here about TC's and all the problems, has anybody bought and tried the Scoutguard SC550??
My brother bought one and I must say, it's very impressive. The camera is about the size of your hand. It is also a IR camera. Trigger speed is great. Pics are excellent and it runs on 8 AA batteries. He has taken over 500 pics on one set of batteries.
And this camera only sells for $199 and $209 for the camo.
Now my brother ended up getting 30% off by going thru a couple of web sites, so he only paid around $147 for his.
Think I'm gonna invest in one myself now. Great little cameras.

Sqiggy.....I am seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on this camera as well!! Can you lead me to the websites your brother used to get 30% off? They are offering free shipping right now.

I bought one a couple weeks ago and its great. The only thing I had a problem with was the controller and it might of just been me forcing it. I was trying to plug it in and it pushed inside the plastic. Called the guy I bought it from and they sent me another one within a week with now questions asked. It takes very clear pictures and battery life has been good on it. I bought mine from Axel at texaswhitetailconnection and here's his phone # 817-781-8197. I had mine shipped overnight due to heading out for the lease but they will send it right away and you should have it in a couple days. I would recommend it because I like everything I've seen right now

I don't really know. He had to sign up for something which was free. Then that took him to another site, inwhich offers stuff at 10, 20, & 30% off. He had to wait for the day when they had 30% off. Then he ordered it and paid with pay pal. This is how you get it. The 30% off will be then be put back in your pay pal account after a certain amount of time.
Sounded like a lot of trouble for me, but he's pretty keen on finding deals and learning how to use them. But then again, he buys a lot of stuff on the net and has a pay pal account where I don't.
But hey, for $199 or $209, they are well worth it from what I've seen already.
I did a reveiw search and found that this camera blew every other camera in that price range out of the water. The other 3 cameras that outperformed (but not by much) were well over $300!!
