    Dang Dog!

My #&^@ lab keeps tearing up my flower bed. I know it's hot, and I know he's trying to cool down, but it's getting out of hand. We have 5 acres with a pond, plenty of shade, but every day that I'm @ work, or on vaca, he tears up the flower bed. Digging holes. He KNOWS he's not supposed to because as soon as I get home, he bolts. Any ideas how to keep him out.

Put his fresh crap in there. Should keep him out.

This works with my 3 mini dachshunds. Keeps them from digging where I don't want them to.

LOL....cute. If he's anything like my lab... good luck with cayenne pepper. We put a hot fence up for a few weeks with yellow flags around it. He got hit a couple of times and won't go near the flower bed now. We left a couple of the little yellow flags just as a reminder.

Get him one of those little plastic swimming pools and keep that sucker full of water, problem solved.

He's got a horse trough FULL of water in the shade, AND a kiddie pool. I got him for hunting, and he never panned out. Was gonna breed him, given I paid $1K for him, and one of his juevos never dropped, so that's a no go. He's a couple holes close to finding the end. I just redid the flower beds, dropped a grand on em. Flower beds do more for my house than him.

Careful with the cayenne pepper some dogs will have a bad reaction from it. It cost me a trip to the vet.
