Closed on 6 acres outside Bertram 2 weeks ago. Got out with a backhoe this past weekend and went to work. Our goal is to sell our current place and build here with the equity we have. It will be tight but we might make it.

I am currently looking to do the same thing in the same area. What kind of quotes are you getting for the barndo, power pole, septic and well? I have about 50k in equity and am looking to stay around the 250k-275k price range.

Oh, and if anyone knows of a "good deal" or fare price on land or a already built out house on land i'm all ears and would greatly appreciate it.

Can easily be done for that much. Are you wanting to include your land in that price or just the house well ect?
We spent 15k on our well and about 6k to get electric where we needed it. Septic ran 6k.
