best way to lock a ranger to a trailer

Going out of town for the weekend and staying in a hotel. taking the ranger with us. what is the best way to keep the ranger and trailer firmly attached to the truck at night in the parking lot? Expensive items have tended to walk away on me when left in hotel parking lots!

Back trailor up to something where they cant unload it. Steel cable through rim of one or to tires and lock to trailer frame.

Dont worry they normally just take truck, trailer, and all.

best is to back it in so the trailer is blocked, if not make sure Ranger is locked to trailer and trailer is locked to truck or they will just un-hook the trailer and take it all.

Trouble is there is really no way to lock any of it that can't be easily cut....

Last year when we went to the National sporting Clay shoot in San Antonio, we ran a chain around the frame of the cart and around the bumper of the truck as well as blocking the rear. Lock on the hitch as well.

that thought crossed my mind especially when traveling with my wife, 4yo son, 12 and 14 year old neices, and my mom!!!

I think im going to just chain it to the trailer frame. then lock the hitch to the truck, coupler to the hitch, and maybe lock the safety chains to the truck as well.

I did it on the way to Colorado for an elk hunt. I sleep better in the backseat of my truck than I would of in the room with the way the other two snore.
