settin up feeder times?

Never hunted with feeders before and am now on a property with mostly hogs, lots of turkey and few and far between deer, with time change was going to set up the times around 6:00 am and 4:15pm, any reason why people dont set the times to run earlier in the day with hopes of enticing something to come out--thanks

when i have ran a mid day feeding it seems that all the treerats and crows eat it all up

Mine are set for 6:30AM and 4:30PM
