    Flooding Sucks

Back during the memorial day floods, we got water in the house. Just about 4 inches.

Man, it has been a pain but it sure is nice to start to get back to normal.

I know many more had it way worse than us so I thank God we at least still have a standing home. Sure didn't plan on spending this summer remodeling a a home that was built less than 3 years ago but didn't have a choice.

FEMA helped us out in the cost so very thankful for that.

    Here are some pictures

Only Carpet we put back in was in the kids rooms.

The kids requested it... lol I think they are happy.

I had 43" in the bottom floor of mine. It wasn't the living space so that was nice. It was my hunting room and bar area. I almost have it back to normal.

Really like that tile that looks like wood. We put it in areas of our house too

Thanks! Wish we would have gone this route from the get go.

                      Loving it!

Here it was before it came inside. Just too much water too fast. We aren't in a flood zone so we never thought we would be dealing with this.

Glad your getting back to some kind of normal. Flooding takes it's toll on folks.

Thanks, yeah it hasn't been fun but just thankful we had friends and family to help. Also the funds from FEMA of course.
