    Anyone use this feeder?

Not sure if the feed would get wet using this feeder?

I think it would be fine. The concept is the protein gets eaten as soon as it is dispensed so none is left in the chute to get too wet.

It's similar to the stand and fill we bought last year. Feed gets a little damp, but not all of it.

Do you have to keep cleaning it out?

Looks interesting. I love my krivoman timed protein feeder.
Built well and flawless in past two years.

I just bought two of these 600lb units from American Fence in League City. I'm too old to climb ladders or on top of ATV to fill barrel feeders. This requires less frequent filling and I can do it from the ground. AS controls and motors are 12v and much more reliable than most. Best of all- coon and hog proof!

That all sounds good to me too. My main issue is I just have to start controlling when these deer eat. I'd just like to know these are dependable.

Coons and hogs would ware it out at our location.

                          Feeder Features:
Perforated feed tray to keep feed fresh and dry

I think it will be fine. Hunted a huge place with about 30 feeders like this and they didn't have problems.

Well I've got it set up with a camera on it. It look and seems really well built. I really like the The Timer in it. It's so nice to just touch a button for each feeder cycle and program it rather than scanning through them all.

It's going to be really interesting to see if my deer will switch from eating out of tubes to eating out of this trough.

Post back up and let us know how it goes. I have been looking at this exact feeder and my give it a try after season is over.
