Need some prayers

My stepdad had a growth removed from his brain this morning, and in the process, there was a small tear in some tissue. (I'm guessing brain tissue) anyhow he is awake but in severe pain, the pain meds don't seem to be helping. We could sure use some prayers. We serve an awesome God and I know with prayer he can and will make this a better situation. Thanks
