    Hate to admit it, but...

Tonight I downloaded the Pokemon app to show my kids so they'd have something to do during the day while I'm at work. Had no idea how to play it but after catching the first one in the front yard we wandered a little further to see if we could find another one.

We just got back home after walking over two miles around the neighborhood. We met several new neighbors, helped someone check their trailer lights, and the kids met new friends down the street who were also exploring for Pokemon.

I know it's a fad, but it's getting folks outside and talking to each other. Definitely a good way for the youngns to get exercise and meet new kids. Hate to say it, but...pretty cool.

I downloaded it to see what it was. I caught two in my office at work. Wasn't much of a hunt

Haha, I hear folks are having a good time with it. Could be pretty cool to get the kids out for something sort of like a scavenger hunt.

Seems to be all the rage. I guess my only hang up with it is that folks are still glued to an electronic device to play the darn game. I just don't see that being more productive than throwing a ball, fishing, or being in the woods with my boys.

I know.. grab your tinfoil hats, but I do not like how the game has pictures.. everywhere. Data from this game could easily rival google earth pics or even more precise pics of locations. Big brother is always watching..... just sayin..
