    interview follow-up?

i had an interview at the end of the day on Jul. 1, and thought it went very well. since the following 3 days were a holiday weekend, i waited until first thing tues morning (jul 5) to send a "thank you" email. today would be exactly 2 weeks since the interview and i have not heard a thing back. would it be too soon to send a follow up email to let them know i am still very interested, or give it a few more days being there was a holiday in that time frame?

and any tips on what should be included in the follow-up email?

Its not too soon to follow up. I would let them know you appreciate the opportunity to interview, tell them how you will be an asset to the company, restate your qualifications and that you are ready go go to work for the team now.

    good luck,

Go ahead and send an email...plenty of time has passed. I never have issues when someone sends me an email after an interview.

      I would include...

You're just following up on the job interview.
You are excited about the possible opportunity.
You know you would be a great fit for them.
You know there were probably several great candidates but you are willing to do whatever it takes to make this happen.
It was great getting to meet with him/her/them.
Just build yourself up to them again.
