This tourist stays at least a week or two in Taos every year and I have to admit I love Michael's Kitchen.

Tomasitas, El Pinto and Sadies are overrated but are absolutely perfect for tourist as it will beat everything in they're back yard.

We went there last spring. Hadn't been there in at least 40 years. It sure has changed. Used to have to watch my mom do art. Those days are long gone. Now I'd pay anything just for 5 minutes.

We ate at a Mexican restaurant made out of this old old motel. They'd have 7 or 8 tables in the rooms. The food was good. I don't know who's order they brought us but we ate it anyways.

In five weeks you can show up at Old Killer's elk camp. Elk chili with peach cobbler for desert. 17 miles southeast of Taos.

I love michaels as well. I use to have to stay in Taos for work. I always ate breakfast at Michaels before heading into the Carson for work.
