    Tbh-auto mechanic question

I bought a project, its a 1990 Ford Super Duty with a 460. The fuel pump is out and I would like to get this truck running. It will fire up off gas soaked rag on air intake. What is a versatile way for me to rig up a temp. tank? Back int carb days, a boat tank on roof and gravity flow to the carb worked. Can I use a cheap universal fuel pump to achieve the same thing? What PSI does the pump need t be? THe motor is coming out of the truck and rest is going for scrap. I do not want to buy oem pump

You will need at least 38 psi to make the BBF run because it is EEC4 EFI. I recommend going to parts house and getting in line fuel pump for 94 f150 frame mounted. Should work and part is cheaper.
