Dang cops!!!!!

I got pulled over by a Trooper this morning. I told him I know Bobby Minchew (well on the Internet at least). I dang near got arrested for that. Once I calmed him down, he thanked me for my service (veteran LTC), thanked me for carrying in times like this, thanked me for the support (blue stripe on the back glass) and gave me a warning for my smoked tail lights.

I was scared for my life cause I was packing heat. [emoji16]. It was actually a pleasant exchange.

I got pulled over by a dps Monday outside laVernia . Guy was super nice . I had my hands on the wheel . First thing o told him was I have a firearm on my side . All he asked was for my chl . Told him I need to get out of the car to get it cause it's in my front pocket opposite of my pistol. Said no problem . Showed him the pistol was on my right side and wallet was on my left . He took my chl ran my dl and thanked me for carrying and letting him know I had a gun on me. Let me go with a warning when I should of got a ticket for sure . I was in the wrong for sure .

I got pulled over Thursday for 41 in a 30 on my own road at 6:45 am going to my headquarters and was cited immediatly. Paid 135 ..he never heard of Bobby

It's an unwritten rule....if you have your own Headquarters you are getting a ticket.

They happen thousands of times everyday. They don't get the masses in a panicked uproar or cause people to act like complete morons. Thus, they are not news worthy.

Timing of this one is great. Here I am on the side of the road just outside of Brownwood. Headed to pick up Nathan from 4H shooting camp.



Hands on wheel when he walked up. He told me to relax and that he appreciates that. Told him I'm licensed but not carrying. He said I'm crazy to have it and not carry in these times.

Stopped for no front license plate. Am I annoyed by the piddely reason? Not one bit. Gave me the opportunity to thank someone who deserves thanks. Sending me off with a warning. Sure glad I didn't mention Bobby!
