    NZ Red stag

The boss (wife) has said she would like to go to NZ with me for a red stag hunt, 2017. I have searched on here for some info and found a few good links so far. I was hoping to find any new info out with a 'would you go back' and 'what would you do different'
If it matters, archery hunt unless I get real desperate
    Thanks yall

I'd go back to chase chamois and a fallow for sure. I went w/ Wilderness Quest NZ. You can look up my write up. It was amazing!! If u go, definitely do the Tahr hunt!!

We went for our 30th wedding anniversary a few years back. Went to South Island and used New Zealand Trophy Hunters and it was all first class. I killed this stag - 551 inches and was number two in the world in SCI at the time.

The entire trip was incredible. Hunted about 4-5 days and stayed another two weeks just seeing NZ - Queenstown, Christchurch, etc.

If you can go to the SCI show in January in Vegas there are tons of NZ outfitters there with booths - you can then actually visit with them face to face - good luck on your trip!

Gary Hebert of New Zealand as a great outfit and will cater to the wife if she does not hunt. He has everything you will need for a successful trip.
