    Heck we have got 11 in 6 days leading up to his bit . Just got home from a quick trip to San Antonio let them out and got hit .

      He is all good now . First night he was moping around but now he acts like nothing happened

          I'm on 14 acres and all put 3 are pasture with oak trees . We keep it maintained the best we can .

            For future reference - generally water moccasin bites need medical attention due to bacterial infections. They are very dirty snakes.

            And rattlesnake bites will always need medical attention. My vet said their venom actually breaks down the red blood cells for several days, which can lead to death.
