    Wind Direction Question

For those of you who hunt around the Mason, Junction, Menard triangle, what would you say is the most common wind direction during late September through early November (E,SE,SW,W)? Obviously, any cold front will most likely result in N/NW direction. I am going to be setting up 2 or 3 bow hunting locations soon for different winds, but I still need to narrow it down a bit between E and W. I know a lot depends on exact location/geography, but just wanted to hear some opinions from experience. Thanks.

Most prevailing winds will come from a south/southwesterly direction pretty much like it does out in Sterling Co. where I hunt.
    Don't forget Murphy's law.

In irion county I've noticed a lot of east winds the last couple years. I don't think that is the normal, but east has been tough!

No matter what I set up for, it seems like the wind always swirls.

Type in the nearest city, select the month you're interested in, and then you will see an "Hourly, Daily, Monthly" selection bar and select monthly.

Awesome! I was looking for a place that had historical wind direction. Didn't know underground had it. Thanks again!
