Looks like the site is locked up. I just submitted some applications and as it began to process my CC info I got kicked off and now its not letting me apply. Im sure someone here is to blame, LOL.

I've applied in several categories the last 5 or 6 years. Never been drawn but I'm feeling lucky this year.

          10 years GDE- never drawn

8 year antlerless- drawn for last of three hunt period at inks
Drawn the next year for inks with no points.

3-6 years applying in other categories w/o success

Son was drawn (2nd draw) at choke canyon for a doe tag first year.

          Good hunts when they come.

They need to go back to only letting people apply for one hunt per category. The odds are so low now that I'm not even applying anymore. You can literally hunt a trophy bull elk in Arizona sooner than you can draw a lot of the hunts in Texas.

Tomorrow. Today is the deadline to enter a few of the categories.

I have applied for the youth hunts for my sons. We have been drawn on average every 2-3 years. I can say we have always had a blast on these hunts and my kids have always had pretty good success.

Archery Mule Deer isn't until August 23. But Javelina deadline is today.

I've heard this but I drew one hunt the first year of the new system, and two last year. My kids have drawn seven on the new system when they couldn't get drawn before. I'll take the new system over the old.

Rifle mulie I think. It'd be **** hard to get a mulie with a bow at those places. Not impossible, but success rate is extremely low.

I drew elephant mountain for muleys the first year I applied. Probity never see it again, been doing it 4 years, and I've only came up with no hunts one year.

I hunted Matador three years ago on Archery mule deer. I saw two bucks the morning of the hunt, before it started and one was a shooter.I was within bow range and it would have been an easy shot. I had the first permit so I drew that unit and saw nothing but slickheads the rest of the week.
