    Metal barn build cost

About to close on our little piece of heaven.

    Excluding road, power and whatnot...

Can anyone give me a round about price a metal ship building would cost? Any references? Good or bad experiences?

We have made the decision to build a barn first, to store a tractor and whatnot... Just want to see what pricing would be.

We are wanting a steel building with concrete slab.

Thanks in advance for the help!

$30.50/ft was what it was last Oct when we built ours. That is with plugs, lights, and spray foam insulation

I've found a couple of guys that will do it with slab for $12-13 a foot. That's slab, metal building and erecting.

I'm not wanting fancy... Probably 2 roll up doors, 3 or 4 regular doors. I think is like it insulated. Also a lean-to cover on both sides would be nice for my needs as well.

Basically just a storage area for my equipment on my land.

I'm going to contact mueller sometime to see about pricing.

Mueller has a really neat 3d graphic designer on their website. You can pretty much build your barn on it and then send it to them and they can give you a quote of how much all materials will cost.

$17-20/ft for building and concrete. Then add for everything extra like insulation, electric, doors, windows, plumbing, lights, etc

Fell free to shoot me an email, I work for mueller in Rosenberg, and can sell all over the state. My email is Stephen.simmons@muellerinc.com

Will the building be in a Texas windstorm area?

It is an awesome tool. Not only does it allow you to build what you want but it allows us to see exactly what you are wanting. It really cuts down on the amount of revising the quotes, no more moving this roll up door 5ft this way etc.

Another thing, if you do shop around for other building manufacturers, feel free to send the quote over and we can either match what they are quoting or tell you the differences, thus allowing you to compare the quotes apples to apples.
