    I say it to just about every male that is beyond middle school age. I think there was another thread on here a while back where a TBH'er called a guy sir in New Jersey/yankee state and he took it as very offensive.

      When I worked in stadium ops at Candlestick Park the last season, the only time I was called "Sir" was when they played the Texans. And then it was about 150 times in 1 game. Some of the most polite and well behaved fans I remember.

            I was raised to be polite and respectful and to me it's not about age at all.
            It doesn't bother me to be called Sir as and individual is just showing respect.

              I'll call all young men Sir regardless of age. Can't be respected, unless you respect others.
