Help with ATV title

So, I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this situation...

I bought an ATV and it has a title. It was purchased from a guy by the guy I bought it from, but was never transferred.

So, now I'm trying to title it in my name.

Is it possible? Or do I have to get the original owner to sign a 130U for title transfer?

Any help is appreciated. I hope it made sense! I know I can't be the only one that has gone through this!

I would keep bill of sale and original title stapled together and skip over the hassle and cost of transferring it.

So, get a bill of sale from the guy I bought it from?

I didn't get one originally, but I'm sure he would if I asked

Yes. Make sure to have date , address and signature of seller and buyer.

You will need the title to be signed on the back from original owner and a bill of sale from current owner. Great part about titling an ATV, you do not pay taxes on it.
