any recommendations? have the replacement bumper off of my f350 and she could use a new coat of paint or re-powder coat, or spray on bedliner it.looking at grinder with knotted wheel brush chemical or sandblasting, was looking to give it a shot myself..........

Reason I ask, powdercoat is great to top coat over with proper prep.Comment

If its just a little faded try wet sanding it with superfine sandpaper then buff it out until it shines again.Comment

If you have to take it off, you will have to heat it with a pear burner to break it down and then sand blast it. That is the way the area powder coater does it.Comment

not faded its chipping from rocks hitting it pushing gates looking kinda rough so I was bored and took it off. thinking bout putting spray on liner like raptor liner or mostaliner on it or just having it recoated. it's 18 yrs oldComment

Oven cleaner. Not he fumeless but the good stuff. Spray it on, let it sit and it will pretty much just wipe off.Comment
