I have 6 year old Crossroads RV with a Dometic AC unit. I go by there once a week and check on things and the AC seems to not be as cold each week. Of course yesterday the wife went with me and it ain't cold at all now. My question is can you put freon in those units and what kind. It seems to me it's been losing the freon over the last few months. Oh yea the warrenty ran out last year, that's when the $1600 refrigerator quit. I was expecting the AC problem. I've owned RVs for 20 years and none have been as much of a problem as this one. Thanks for any help, Kevi

We have a 2016 that quit cooling as good as it was. I pulled the inside cover off and discovered that the divider between the intake air and discharge air had come loose and was mixing all the air. This might be something you could check. I just used duct tape and reinstalled it and it made a huge difference. Good Luck!
