Photoshop help, over exposure on Wife's Bear LDP

Hey guys, I've spent hours trying to fix a picture and have gotten nowhere. I botched the LDP's of her awesome bear by just snapping pics and not even looking at them before we packed the bear out.

Would someone like to take a shot at correcting my overexposed picture? I can email the original for better quality.

Can you post a pic here so we can get an idea of the over exposure?

There's not much that can be done with a photo that is overexposed. The details might be unrecoverable.

That's better than 98% of the LDP pics on TBH. I'm calling it good.

If it is on a memory card maybe you could take it to a local photographer and see what they can do.

Can't help you with the photo shop, but congratulations to your wife! That is a great looking bear.
While the pictures aren't perfect, they do look good!

I ran it through 'Recovery' in the RAW tools in Bridge/Photoshop twice
it helped the highlights that weren't completely blown out
but there's nothing there to fix in the completely blown out areas

Original is a better picture than I ever take.
