Original owner of 1989 Honda Fourtrax 300, still runs perfect today, and it's been some places. No major repairs, routine maintence is it.

iv had 2 kawasaki brute force, they had crazy power and would go anwhere i pointed them.. but if i had to chose now i think i would go can am or honda. the outlander has the power and rides like a caddy, and the honda well they just have a a great rep of lasting forever.

Honda with IRS is my first choice and Yamaha is my second. Both great bikes but I have had less problems from my Honda than my brother has had from his Yamaha.

As of now I'm only hunting about 10% of the property due to access. With the atv I can pretty much get to all of it.
Two things to consider with this comment. Size and weight. I can only compare the two Hondas I have owned and a few Polaris that friends have owned. The '99 fourtrax 300 2x4 and '10 rancher 420 4x4 I had were a lot lighter than the Polaris bikes that they had. I used to ride my families land alone a lot back in high school and really never had issues with getting stuck and not being able to get my self out of it. It was usually a pick up the rear and move it over or push the old 300 out. My rancher was the same way but being 4x4 that didn't happen as often. Riding with friends, we used to get the Polaris bikes stuck too and those things were heavy. It took a lot from us to get them moved around and out. And I know the Polaris were a decent but wider than the two Hondas I had too. I just remember the Polaris bikes being a bigger built body. Not that it's a really bad thing, but if you plan to weave in and out of trees like I did, the narrower Honda was easier to do that on. I can't really compare that to the other makes but just something to look into.

I have a Kawasaki Brute Force. Can't imagine you could get more power out of one. Sounds like you have the money to spend to buy new and like anything else, as long as you buy a reputable brand, I'm sure you will be satisfied.
