    just a short PSA

I recently had a new transfer case and speedometer gear installed in my suburban. I did not think the speedometer was registering properly but had no way to test it.
I got curious yesterday and searched the APP store and found a free speedometer app. I have tested it on 3 vehicles and it is accurate and my suburban is registering 7 miles per faster than actual speed

Try the Waze app. Its a traffic map with a free speed on it.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Great app. Speedometer is accurate or off by the same as my truck.

Those apps are more accurate than most speedometers. Tons of them out there.

Or, another way is to get on the road and set your cruise control to this

Look for one of these along the side of the road

Start a timer when you pass it and stop the timer when you pass the next one.

Well, that would work if you had a cruise control
