    Anyone want some bees?

My BIL has some that have made his house their house. Have no idea how big the hive is or how may bees but there were about 50-75 bees on the outside wall, and a bunch more flying in and out of the soffit.

*** Notice ***** I get at least one jar of honey and comb as a finders fee

Call the Brazos County extension agent and theyll refer you to some dude who will charge you $500. I think youre in Caldwell County however. The former USDA Pecan Breeding Geneticist Tommy Thompson lives in College Station. PM me and Ill give you his phone number...otherwise you can track it down. He wont charge a thing. There is no need to be destructive...there are easy ways to get a colony of bees out of a wall and maintain their viability. Ive had bees killed out in rental properties before with Carbaryl. Kills them dead...but youre still left with the comb and honey. Drywall tear out will likely be necessary. Smoking the bees will cause them to engourge on honey and at least you can reduce the amount of honey in the wall if and when they leave.

Im just a beekeeper. Not a bee removal specialist.

Only chemicals will be once and done...with a mess still in the wall. Bee removal will take a few trips from the apiarist.

No brainer but needs to be said...if you chemically treat the bees...do not eat the honey!

God bless Apis melifera ssp. Good luck.
