    Homemade Pond Feeder

Went to my Uncles a while back and he mentioned he wanted a pond feeder, I told him I think I have an old feeder at the house and I could make one. Well a few months later finally got it done. I really wanted to use something bigger then a 5 gal bucket, but it holds probably 25lbs of food. I used a piece of thin sheet metal for a directional plate it works very good. I think it turned out pretty good. I will let him decide how we will mount it, either on the top of his pier or out on a pier piling.

I bet you can't guess where they live. Lol

All I gotta say is you better put a coon cage on it or they will empty it overnight--

My first thought as well ! I used to keep fish food in a garbage can on my pier, and had to chain the lid to keep them out. They are industrious little thieves.

Well we made the trip east to Louisiana this morning for a little feeder delivery and fishing. We had a blast and both the kids caught some good size catfish and feeder worked out (hopefully coons won't spoil the party).

Kept a few for tomorrow evening
