Need advice for when at the lease..

Don't get me wrong I love being at the lease, but anytime I go I get chiggers like no other.. I try and spray my entire body down and still manage to get chigger bites.. It makes it not so fun at the lease dreading that I know I'll get eaten up. It seems when I was younger I never had to worry about chiggers, I could run naked in a field and not worry one bit. The past two years have been miserable. What is some of the things you guys do to prevent this?

Food grade sulphur! Cut it 50/50 with baby powder. Pour it into a sock. Tie a knot in the sock. Dust yourself with sock. Store in a coffee can or tupperware at the lease.
I also spray down with DEET for added peace of mind.
    Good luck!

Permethrin. Spray it on your boots. Pre treat your cloths and then wash them. Good for around 30-45 days or 5-6!washes.

Old Sawyer two part application. a lotion for you skin and a spray for your clothes. I normally find it at Walmart in the camping section.

I spray my body with deep woods off, then spray my socks, and then spray my clothes, and works every time.

Sulphur up and spray. Do it 3-4 times per day. Shower twice a day. Just the washrag rubbing on your skin will wash them off. Even short grass and shady areas (like in the camp yard) will have chiggers. Spray the moment you get out of the truck. Don't take a nap or got to bed without showering.

This is what I do but used seven dust.

Some say wearing panty hose works too.

Deep woods off will work alright. As stated, spray socks, jeans, waist line, and a bit all over clothes, etc. Sulphur powder works too if you can find it.

Also, try and avoid walking through thick brush. Chiggers typically tack onto you whenever you are rubbing up against tree limbs, brush, etc. The worst I've ever gotten into them was after a day of brush clearing.

                              This works well.

Another crazy idea that works is to take garlic pills daily for a week before you go. They are scentless to humans but the chiggers don't like the way you taste. Also works for mosquitos.
