We are with ya bearded. We ended up sleeping at bird island. First time trying to fish the flats over there. Got one hit in the afternoon, but we had a great time.
Got back from our trip to the coast. We went down to Freeport. The surf was anything but calm, but the water at Surfside was nice and cool... almost chilly. Caught several specks in the wade gut. Only 1 was a keeper (18")
