    Blind windows

Up until last year I would usually sit in a tripod, tree stand or pop up but decided to buy a nice blind last year and had the deer view windows installed in it. Maybe I am just full of hot air lol but each time i would go sit in it on a fairly cool morning the windows would either fog up really bad or condensate on the outside really bad. Im talking to the point you couldn't see out of them. I try to keep them closed until i see something I like coming in to help keep any scent down that all my scent removal gadgetries may have missed. My question is, do any of you have this same issue and if so what do you use to stop it/get it off that is scent free? Can't use windex or anything of the sort because of the ammonia smell it puts off. I took a roll of paper towel and would use that but as soon as i would wipe it off it would be back within just a few minutes. And lord help you if you tried to turn on the my buddy heater. Then they would really fog or condensate over. I could just open them i guess. Do you sit with the windows open or closed in your blinds?

Don't have any problems with my Deerveiw windows fogging up. But I always keep front window open regardless of the temperature

Thanks and sorry, i didn't mean to sound as if I was saying it was the deerveiw windows. That is just what i had installed because I have heard lots of good things about them. It could be any window. Just trying to figure out what to do before this season starts up.

I had the same problem and started using Rain-X on my windows. Any smell quickly dissipates and the windows remain clear. When the tempts drop down to freezing I use it on the outside of the windows also to prevent the windows from frosting.

I've had the same issue but think the rain X might work. I'd like to hear from others as well.

When using rain X I leave residual film smeared on the window. In 5-10 minutes time it evaporates. This has worked best for me. Also tried shaving cream but it was messy and leaves a scent although it does keep the windows from fogging.

Try tooth paste the old fashioned real tooth paste. When scuba diving we always use tooth paste on the inside of the mask lense to keep it from fogging. Apply it wet let it completely dry and clean it off with water using your hand. Never tried this on Windows though
