    Bow shops in Tyler?

New to the area - What is the best bow shop in Tyler? Need to get my bow tuned up (I shoot Mathews) and would like to buy a few new arrows and shoot indoors. Thanks!

There aren't any ones here that I'd recommend. You're basically stuck with Gander or Academy. Live Oak Archery was a good shop until they closed down a few months ago.

I live in Tyler but travel to Canton to On Target Archery for all of my work. Those guys are good and really know their stuff.

Outdoor Connection in Jacksonville or as stated, On Target in Canton. Both are good, depends which side of town you're on. If on the south or east side of town, Go to Outdoor Connection in Jacksonville and see Logan. He's point blank and doesn't try to sell. Good feller and knows his stuff. A lot closer than Canton. Closed on Mondays

I've heard good things about On Target, I drive over to Kilgore and work with Kevin and Casey over at East Texas Hardware. They're good people.

Another vote for Outdoor Connection. Very straight forward and to the point. I like that.

Didn't realize Live Oak had closed down. Were they even open a year?

Do they both have indoor ranges?

On Target Archery has always been very helpful for me and they also have a Techno hunt that is a lot of fun to do inside during this time of the year.

I can only speak for On Target, I'm a regular there.
                            They have 3 indoor ranges.
20 Yard, Techo and 30 yd ranges. they have a 30(?) target 3D Course and an outdoor, 30,40,50 targets
