REVIEW: two thumbs up on the stealth cam I540IR

so far so good on this camera. I have had it for a month or so now and everything is good. Gotta see how the batteries hold up. This cam has taken around 2000 pics but i have not had it on the whole month. I would say around 15 -20 days. Great quality during both night and day. I likey so far.

nice shot's! I do like mine also!!! I think it's well worth the money. I have had 3 different type game cam's and this is by far the best bang for the buck!!

I like mine a lot but if I could say something negative it would be that the moving shots are not so good. Batteries do last longer then any other I have ever had.

yes, that is something that i forgot to mention about the moving pics. I was so pleased with the pros i forgot about the little con. Glad to hear that about the batteries.

My first 590 finally ran the batteries down this past weekend. The light started flashing after over 2500 pics and I got 24 more before it quit. I replaced the batteries at noon and started a new run. It lasted 11 pics. I came out of the brush that evening and the "low Battery" light was on. Uh oh. I changed them and then got to wondering why it dis so well for 3 months and then take 11 pics. I got my battery tester and tested my batteries out of the new pack of eveready C's. They read 149 to 150. Should read 160 new. I got another pack out and they read like they were supposed to. It was still ginnin' when I left this morning. So, I was ready to think the worse of my camera and it was the batteries. Love the flash, pic quality, and videos of this camera. I have two and one 540. My 540 hasn'[t been out that long. I filled a card with almost 900 pics and it's still going. Will check it again in 3 weeks.

Mine has done well to. I will say that if you have trees or brush that will blow in the wind within 25yds of your camera's view, set the PIR sensor 1/3 way from close. I got a couple hundred pics of trees blowing with it on high. I would like to see a better interface. It can get confusing setting one up even with the directions on the inside cover. Still better than POS I40.

I like mine and get around 4,000 pics or so on a battery set.....got several of them and a 590 as well that is over 3,200 pics and counting still showing full battery......great cameras so far......had a few issues with one I bought but exchanged it for another at Academy and the new one is doing great!
